A
DREAM FINALLY REALIZED
From the time I was a young lad and started
reading Tarzan comic books, I have had an infatuation with Africa.
Consequently, I have since devoured everything about the dark continent
that I could find, especially the flora and fauna. When the opportunity
to go to Africa was presented to us, my wife Pam and I jumped at the
chance.
If we had any apprehension about the trip, it was quickly put to rest
by the smoothness and efficiency of the people involved. We would
highly recommend planning an African trip with the Center For African
Adventures for the experience of a lifetime.

A
MOST UNIQUE KENYAN SAFARI
I could write a book detailing our experiences on
this safari, but this is not the time. My only objective in writing
this article is to let others know that there is an option to the
typical touristy type of safari. If you want a true experience in the
wild, with a guide who will instill confidence each and every day, you
must sign on with Njenga and the CAA. You will not regret it.

I have been with Njenga Mungai on two climbs in east Africa, to stand
on the peak of Pt. Lenana on Mt. Kenya, and again on the summit of
Kilimanjaro. Both were memorable experiences, never-to-be-forgotten. I
was on Mt. Kenya for more than a week, and was well-trained and
acclimated, learning much about the history, as well as the flora,
fauna and geography of the mountain. Later a mixed team of
eight experienced and novice climbers from Kenya and the U.S.
spent six days and five nights on Kilimanjaro. We were
well-provisioned; guides and porters helped us as a team to all reach
the summit, Uhuru Peak, exhilarated beyond words to describe. I
recommend the Center for African Adventure. I hope to use them to
attempt the Ruwenzori Mountains in Uganda/DRC.
