WILDERNESS EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Wilderness
education programs are available to senior high school and college or
university students or any adult with a desire to learn. The locations
visited by individual groups and the durations spent in any particular
location will be determined by the needs of each specific group. The
participant will learn much, as we have access to some of the finest
wilderness classrooms in the world. You will learn about the wildlife
of Africa, its culture and geology, travel skills, climbing and much
more.
SAFETY
CAA in collaboration with the WILDERNESS MEDICAL ASSOCIATES (WMA) hope
to contribute to the field of outdoor education in the region by making
wilderness safety training available to individuals working in the
outdoors. We believe that giving training to the community enhances our
own sense of safety in the outdoors. We intend to encourage individuals
to venture more into the outdoors and at the same time be aware of
their own safety. In addition to using very well qualified staff, we go
out of the way to provide training for the people we believe are of
influence to this emerging field, like the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS)
rangers and other outdoor practitioners.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS
The areas we visit offer a great range of activities you can indulge
in. We will simply organize ourselves to fit into your schedule and
interests. We can organize an expedition for medical teams wishing to
conduct medical training courses, mission groups, organizations
interested in team building and bonding trips, training workshops for
wildlife photographers and others. We will tailor a program to meet
your specific needs.
